The Whole Hog Events

First and foremost we are all about the eating. In no particular order we really dig Food, Cooking, Fire, Wood, Heat, Meat Juices, Local Vegetables, Fresh Fish, Spit Roast, Wood Ovens, Stout, Rare Breeds, Pigeon, Cheeks, Tails, and the Crunchy Bits, Slow Cooking, Flash Frying, Irish Beef, Mountain Lamb, Confit Anything, Porridge mmmmm Good Food

We can provide tailored food installations to fit any party, event, or festival. At The Whole Hog Events we pride ourselves on supporting local producers through various events we participate in. We can cook fresh local produce for you ourselves, get a crew around and put on a demonstration for a bigger group, bring a festival food concept to life and feed thousands without a drop in quality, or manage a large market which will add value and integrity to any major urban or rural event.

Through this blog we will be posting recipes and ideas to put a big dirty satisfied smile on your face!

So what have we been up to you ask…

We have just finished our role as market managers for the St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Cork City. With over 40 stalls serving delicious grub to some 50, 000 punters the event was a massive success!

At the moment we are gathering traders for the farmers’ market at the new Point Village Market at the O2 in Dublin which we will be managing. Our launch date is 29th of May and once we are up and running we will be posting great recipes here every few days.

The Crescent Farmer’s Market in Limerick is continuing every wednesday from 10 a.m. onwards. After a long winter we will be having a grand opening in May with some guest appearances by top Irish chefs. Check us out or join us on facebook

We are managing the markets for the Cork Clipper Event in July and will update you on this closer to the time

Our plans for EP are in full swing and you can expect even more than last year by the time September rolls around. You can keep updated by joining us on facebook

We picked up a Bridgestone at Electric Picnic last year for the quality of our food and our use of local ingredients. Happy times!
